Prayers This Week
Let us pray to God, who alone makes us dwell in safety:
We pray for parents with young children at home.
We pray for school staff and Governors as they explore the possibility of some children returning to school.
We pray for those who are on furlough and those who are unemployed.
We remember those who are sick and those who care for them.
Skyla, Michael, Graham, Lynette, Nicky, Pamela, Pat Green, Rosemary, Ian, Jessica, Carol, Kev, Richard, Nicola, Ellie, Tom, Fiona, Martin, Natalie. Please Remember in your prayers those who are staying indoors
For families and friends of those who have died:
Bill Adlington and Marie Maddison and ask God to comfort their families and friends as they mourn them.
All remembering anniversaries of loved ones.
Let us pray to God,
who alone makes us dwell in safety:
For all who are affected by coronavirus, through illness or isolation or anxiety,
that they may find relief and recovery:
For those who are guiding our nation at this time, and shaping national policies, that they may make wise decisions:
For doctors, nurses and medical researchers, that through their skill and insights many will be restored to health:
For key workers and those caring for others at home, that they may be sustained by your grace.
For the vulnerable and the fearful,
for the gravely ill and the dying, that they may know your comfort and peace:
Please add your personal prayers
The Lord’s Prayer
Prayer for this week
by the obedience of Jesus
you brought salvation
to our wayward world:
draw us into harmony with your will,
that we may find all things
restored in him,
our Saviour Jesus Christ . Amen
