For those who are guiding our nation at this time, shaping national and local policies, that they may act wisely and with compassion.
For all who live and work in Donnington, Donnington Wood and the Humbers, that we may work together to build a supportive and caring community.
For those who are anxious about returning to work and for those who have lost jobs.

We Give thanks for those who are recoving from illness.
For the vulnerable and the fearful, for the gravely ill and the dying, that they may know your comfort and peace:
For families and friends of those who have died: that they may know God’s comforting presence.
For all remembering anniversaries of loved ones.
Remembering those who have died; Dorothy Day, Celia Shaw,
Janet Norton, David Pick. and those we are remembering following their death.
May they rest in peace and rise in glory.
Let us pray to God,
who alone makes us dwell in safety:
For all who are affected by coronavirus, through illness or isolation or anxiety,
that they may find relief and recovery:
For those who are guiding our nation at this time, and shaping national policies, that they may make wise decisions:
For doctors, nurses and medical researchers, that through their skill and insights many will be restored to health:
For key workers and those caring for others at home, that they may be sustained by your grace.
For the vulnerable and the fearful,
for the gravely ill and the dying, that they may know your comfort and peace:

The Lord’s Prayer
Prayer for this week
God, our judge and saviour,
teach us to be open to your truth
and to trust in your love,
that we may live each day
with confidence in the salvation
which is given through Jesus Christ our Lord.
